Creamy Avocado Salsa Verde! OMG this is SOOOOO GOOD! Being from Texas, I thought I knew every trick to get a great roasted flavor in any salsa – until I read this gals recipe and made it. In lieu of chopping everything in batches in the food processor, this gal put all of the hard vegetables in a roasting pan, cooked them in the oven, which brought out just amazing flavor and made the assemblage so easy! This is a canning recipe, but it only makes 4 pints – which will disappear fast!

Strawberry Lemonade Moonshine:4 C Sugar, 12 C Water, 4 C Fresh Lemon Juice, 2 1⁄8 Pints Strawberry Purée, 5 C Everclear (190 proof preferred: 3 to 5 C depending on desired alcohol content) Instructions:1) Place a pot on low heat and pour in water & sugar; Stir until sugar is dissolved; Let cool to room temperature. 4) Mix in strawberry purée & lemon juice; Add Everclear & stir well. 6) Strain mix making sure to remove all pulp. 7) Pour mix into a jar & let sit in refrigerator for a few weeks
